To study the deformation characteristics and long-term mechanical properties of rocks in a low-temperature environment and the effect of different temperatures, we perform a multilevel loading-unloading uniaxial

Mechanical Behaviour of Duplex Phase Structures in a

The mechanical behaviour of duplex phases produced in a medium carbon low alloy steel with potentials for use as machine body parts and vehicle panels, has been investigated. A representative composition of the steel (C:0.3; Si:0.28; Mn:0.97; Cr:0.15) was utilized to produce ferrite martensite duplex phases of varied proportions by intercritical annealing treatment. Mechanical behaviour of lowmedium density destructured The underlying mechanisms that control the mechanical performance of the material are not well understood. This paper explores the prospect of developing a framework to characterise the behaviour of chalk putty. To this end, triaxial tests were carried out using low- and medium-density reconstituted chalks produced by different methods.

The primary outcome measures in the study were the results of the mechanical testing of DCPs in bending and fatigue.
